Today, we remember 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼, a Filipino whose 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 for country became a powerful part of our nation’s history.

May his story remind us that education is not only about learning from the past, but also about using it to build a better future.

We’re proud to celebrate the journey of Mr. Cris Jamil Z. Hertez whose story of leadership and service continues to inspire.

Cris is not only a proud TMTCS alumnus—he is now part of the TMTCS community as our HR Officer, bringing with him the values, experiences, and lessons he gained throughout his academic and leadership journey.

Recently featured by the University of Baguio Office of Student Affairs through , Cris shared how his experiences in student leadership shaped his understanding of leadership—not as a title, but as a commitment to serve, inspire others, and create meaningful impact.

During his time at the University of Baguio, Cris took on various leadership roles—from serving as an officer of the UB Psyche Organization, to becoming Governor of the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts Student Body (STELA SB), and eventually serving as Prime Minister of the University of Baguio Supreme Student Council (UB SSC).

Through these experiences, he discovered that leadership goes beyond titles—it is rooted in service, compassion, and the desire to create a meaningful impact on others.

📢 ADVISORY | ONLINE LEARNING MODALITY

In accordance with the announcement of the Local Government of Olongapo City regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels and advisory from Malacañang, The Manila Times College of Subic will shift to an ONLINE LEARNING MODALITY, August 20, 2026 (Thursday) due to the heavy rainfall.

There will be no regular on-site operations tomorrow to prioritize everyone’s safety.

Due to the Red Warning signal brought by the prevailing weather conditions, all onsite academic classes scheduled for 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆) are cancelled. Classes shall shift to either 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

With the current 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, floodwaters may rise and exposure to contaminated water may increase. This is a timely reminder to protect yourself and your loved ones from 𝗹𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶 a bacterial infection commonly spread through water or soil contaminated by the urine of infected animals, especially rats.

⚠️ 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼:
• Avoid wading through floodwater whenever possible.
• Wear protective footwear and clothing when exposure is unavoidable.
• Wash thoroughly with clean water and soap after contact with floodwater.
• Keep cuts and wounds covered with waterproof dressings.
• Seek medical attention promptly if symptoms develop after exposure.
