Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the expected heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Tropical Depression "Luis," Calombuyan Elementary School remains steadfast in ensuring that learning continues.

Through the implementation of Alternative Learning Modalities (ALMs), our dedicated teachers continue to provide meaningful learning opportunities for every learner, proving that education never stops even in times of challenging weather conditions.

School Watching and Hazard Mapping Activity | July 31, 2026

As part of its commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and learner-friendly school environment, Calombuyan Elementary School successfully conducted its School Watching and Hazard Mapping Activity on July 31, 2026.

The activity was led by SELG Adviser, Ma'am Jelly Ann P. Sabado, together with the dedicated Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers. Through a systematic inspection of the school premises, the team identified potential hazards and mapped areas that require attention to help prevent accidents and promote disaster preparedness.

This meaningful initiative empowers our young leaders to actively participate in creating a culture of safety, responsibility, and preparedness within the school community. By working together, we continue to ensure that every learner enjoys a safe and conducive environment for learning.

Calombuyan Elementary School proudly joins the celebration of the 2026 Nutrition Month with the theme "Sa PPAN, Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" and the sub-theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!"

As part of this meaningful celebration, our learners actively participated in tree planting in their own backyards and showcased their creativity through poster-making and slogan-making activities that promoted the importance of proper nutrition, environmental protection, and climate action.

Through these initiatives, we aim to instill in our learners the value of caring for nature as a vital partner in achieving food security and good health.
