Ayon sa DepEd Order No. 29 s.2021, magsisimula ang darating na school year sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa Setyembre 13, 2021 (Lunes) at magtatapos sa Hunyo 24, 2022 (Biyernes) na may kabuuang bilang na 209 na araw.

Mananatili namang ipagbabawal ang pagsasagawa ng face-to-face classes, maliban na lamang kung pahihintulutan ito ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
