This event served as the creative culmination of course requirements for 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐏𝐂𝐎𝐆𝟐𝟏𝟏) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐏𝐁𝐈𝐎𝟐𝟏𝟏), showcasing the "medicinal" soul of the vine.

Amidst trailing ivy and the scent of fresh herbs, we explored the science of fermentation, featuring student-crafted wines paired with artisanal food selections specifically prepared to complement each unique flavor profile.

𝐎𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 3rd Year Pharmacy students participated in the perfume workshop entitled “𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠” held at the OLFU Laguna SRB2 Pharmacy Laboratory Room. Spearheaded by ChemWorld, the event provided an engaging and educational experience that introduced the fundamentals of fragrance formulation, blending techniques, and scent profiling.

The workshop was graced by the esteemed guest speakers, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐨, whose expertise and insightful discussions enriched the participants’ understanding of the artistry and science behind perfume making. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, the students were able to cultivate creativity, precision, and appreciation for fragrance development within the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

From interactive exhibits to program walkthroughs, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 gave a glimpse of what it’s like to navigate the journey of becoming a healthcare professional at 𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐔 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚.

Like Alice, every great journey begins with a single step into the unknown. And in Pharmaland, that step could lead to a future in pharmacy, research, and patient care.
