Behavior Care Consultants recently conducted a parent training session focused on embedding parent capacity building into therapy programs, highlighting the importance of play pairing, emotional regulation for children, promoting language development through fun and engaging interactions, and understanding behaviour as communication.
The session introduced practical, family-centred strategies informed by the principles of the Behavior Care Consultants approach, empowering parents to confidently support their child’s development within everyday routines and interactions.
Parents were guided in developing a deeper understanding of their child’s emotional experiences, recognising early signs of dysregulation, and responding in ways that foster connection, co-regulation, and positive engagement. The training also emphasised the value of responsive and playful interactions in supporting communication, language learning, and stronger parent-child relationships.
Through discussion, shared experiences, and practical examples, families were encouraged to build meaningful connections and create supportive environments that nurture learning, regulation, and participation across daily life.

Behavior Care Consultants successfully delivered a 5-hour professional training event aimed at connecting and inspiring doctors, medical specialists, behaviour analysts, developmental educators, and allied health professionals in Mongolia. Held at the country’s largest university hospital, the event centered on the theme “Building Bridges Across Behavioural and Developmental Practice.”
The conference provided a transformative day of presentations and practice-ready insights for professionals supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioural challenges, and diverse learning needs across the lifespan.
This impactful event was made possible through the excellent hosting and coordination of the ANA center Mongolia team, and was a great success.

April is Autism Awareness Month.
Autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental difference that calls for acceptance and support.
But what does it really mean to accept autism? It means moving beyond awareness and toward genuine inclusion—listening to autistic voices, respecting communication differences, valuing individual strengths, and making meaningful accommodations in everyday environments. Acceptance also means challenging stigma, avoiding deficit-based views, and recognising that support should be tailored to each person, not aimed at changing who they are, but helping them thrive as they are.
Autism is a spectrum of neurodevelopmental differences that shape how individuals experience the world, communicate, learn, and interact. No two autistic people are the same—each person has a unique profile of strengths, challenges, and ways of engaging with their environment.
This month is about more than awareness—it’s about acceptance, respect, and creating environments where autistic individuals are supported, included, and valued for who they are.
Let’s move beyond awareness toward meaningful inclusion. 💙
