Two of my Southwill teachers became speaker in the SBTT seminar on Matatag Curriculum initiated by City Division, Department of Education. The new curriculum adopted the 21st Century Education that gives emphasis on the use of Inquiry-Based and Constructivist Approaches that Southwill has already applying these principles since 2017. The Inquiry-Based Approach has been our guiding principles in developing our instructional design for the online classes during the height of pandemic, the Southwill Instructional System '20.

When our teacher-participants told me that they are already familiar with the principles during the seminar conducted by DepEd, it brought me so much relief. I knew it from the very start. We are on the right track. The 5 E's principles of inquiry based approach is already the framework of our instructional strategy plan (ISP).
