๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” โ€” The First Aiders Club, in collaboration with NSTP, successfully conducted an Emergency Simulation Drill at the school campus, focusing on earthquake preparedness, evacuation, and emergency response.

This drill would not have been successful without the dedication of our First Aider volunteers, NSTP student volunteers, and the full participation of our students. Your cooperation, discipline, and active involvement helped make the activity meaningful and effective.

The activity was spearheaded by Maโ€™am Karen Key Ocon, First Aiders Club Moderator and NBSPI School Nurse, whose guidance and leadership helped ensure the successful implementation of the drill.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our invited guests and partner organizations for sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise of KCC Fire Brigade, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), KCC Customer Relations Services, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

Your presence and support helped strengthen our studentsโ€™ awareness and preparedness in responding to emergencies and disasters.

August 28, 2026 โ€” First Aidersโ€™ Club successfully conducted a seminar on emergency preparedness. The activity aimed to strengthen studentsโ€™ awareness and readiness in responding to different emergency situations.

The seminar featured Maโ€™am Cheena Grace Abellanosa, a Customer Relations Service Representative from KCC, who discussed proper actions during earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, landslides, fires, building collapses, and other emergencies. She also emphasized the importance of preparing an emergency kit, creating a family safety plan, and remaining calm during critical situations.

The event concluded with a practical evaluation of the studentsโ€™ โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ response, allowing them to apply what they had learned. Overall, the seminar provided valuable knowledge and practical awareness that can help students become more prepared and responsible during emergencies.
