Lajong National High School 𝐃𝐋𝐂 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐱 proudly joined the 𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, bringing rhythm, energy, and school pride to the festive streets. With their dynamic beats and synchronized performance, the group showcased the talent and discipline of LNHS students, delighting the crowd and adding grandeur to the town’s celebration.

The parade also featured the 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒍𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑱𝒂𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, who marched alongside the Grooving Fox performers. Their collaboration highlighted the spirit of unity and camaraderie between schools, making the event a memorable celebration of youth, music, and community pride.

Students and faculty members of Lajong National High School actively participated in the 2𝒏𝒅 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒘𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍 (𝑵𝑺𝑬𝑫), demonstrating their commitment to disaster preparedness and safety.

The drill provided an opportunity for the school community to practice proper evacuation procedures and strengthen their readiness in case of seismic emergencies. Through collective participation, the activity highlighted the importance of vigilance, discipline, and cooperation in ensuring the safety and resilience of both learners and educators.

Lajong National High School conducted a 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕-𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 today, June 11, 2026, as part of the Opening Block activities for S.Y. 2026–2027. The initiative was spearheaded by the 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑫𝑹𝑹𝑴 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃, with active participation from representatives of the 𝑺𝑺𝑳𝑮 and 𝒀𝑬𝑺-𝑶 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃.

Guided by School DRRM Club Adviser 𝑴𝒓. 𝑫𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑮. 𝑫𝒖𝒂𝒗𝒆, the activity empowered students to identify potential risks within the campus and promote disaster readiness. This collaborative effort highlights the school’s commitment to safety, resilience, and student leadership in ensuring learning continuity during emergencies.

Lajong National High School held its First School PTA Meeting and Parents’ Orientation, starting with Homeroom and School PTA Elections. Parents were then briefed on key updates:
• Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum
• Three-Term School Calendar
• Guideline on Learning Continuity in Emergencies
• Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K-12 Basic Education Program
• Child Protection Policy

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥

The opening of classes at Lajong National High School was marked with a spirit of unity and excitement. The day began with a solemn prayer and the traditional flag-raising ceremony, setting a tone of respect and patriotism.

SSLG President Kriszyl Ann B. Alin warmly welcomed both students and teachers, offering heartfelt advice and reminders especially for the new students adjusting to their high school journey. Afterward, the School Head Mr. Ryan Gime delivered his inspiring message to the learners and faculty, emphasizing collaboration and dedication for the year ahead as well as updates on the new DepEd Orders.

Teachers then distributed school supplies under the Kadunungan Program, a generous initiative courtesy of the Provincial Government of Sorsogon led by 𝑮𝒐𝒗. 𝑬𝒅𝒘𝒊𝒏 "𝑩𝒐𝒃𝒐𝒚" 𝑯𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒓. With their materials ready, each grade level proceeded to their respective classrooms to begin the opening block sessions with their advisers, officially starting another year of learning and growth.

The Provincial Validation Team visited Lajong National High School last June 2, 2026 to validate its participation in the 𝟕𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦. A brief pre-assessment was conducted, focusing on the school’s cleanliness, gulayan sa paaralan, waste management, and overall campus aesthetics.

This visit highlights the school’s dedication to maintaining a sustainable and well-managed learning environment, preparing it to be recognized as a true 7K Champion.
