The โBusog Puso: Bite-Size Boost for Examโ Feeding Program was successfully implemented across the four campuses of Sorsogon State University, providing students with food and encouragement during their final examination week and at the end of the semester.
The Alumni Affairs Services, in partnership with the Office of Student Development Services (OSDS), led this initiative as part of the universityโs ongoing commitment to student welfare and support during critical academic periods such as final examinations and semester completion.
The program was spearheaded by Prof. Lelanie L. Berjuega, Director of Alumni Affairs Services, together with OSDS, through the support and coordination of campus officials and student leaders who helped facilitate the activity in their respective campuses.
The final feeding activity for the end of the semester was held at the Magallanes Campus on May 20, 2026. During this activity, Prof. Berjuega expressed their sincere gratitude to Prof. Lynn C. Mendoza, Campus Director, for the warm welcome extended to the staff from the main campus. Appreciation was also given to the Supreme Student Council โ Magallanes Campus for their assistance and support throughout the conduct of the program.
Also present were Ms. Ritzi Fullente and Ms. Erlinda Enguerra,
We also thank all Campus Directors, faculty, staff, and Student Councils across all campuses for your cooperation, hospitality, and active participation in making the program run smoothly.
The presence and support of various university personnel from student services further reflect a shared commitment to a caring and student-centered academic environment.
Through โBusog Puso,โ the university continues to demonstrate that simple acts of support and kindness help students stay motivated and supported as they complete their final examinations and successfully conclude the semester.
See you next semester.
