Due to valid and unavoidable circumstances, some qualifiers for the SMART CLASS PROGRAM were unable to take the previously scheduled Special Qualifying Examination, while others were unable to attend the interview. Likewise, some learners were not included in the prescreening process due to incomplete or lacking documentary requirements.

ADVISORY (OPENING BLOCK)
School Opening and Orientation Activities for School Year 2026–2027

Please be informed that the official opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027 is on June 8, 2026.

All students are expected to wear the prescribed school dress code (visit the Office of the Principal for detailed design of the dress code). However, incoming Grade 7 and Grade 11 learners who have valid reasons shall be given a one-month adjustment period to allow ample time for preparation and compliance. During the adjustment period, the following temporary attire shall be observed:

Grade 7 Boys – White T-shirt and khaki pants
Grade 7 Girls – White T-shirt or blouse with skirt
Grade 11 Boys – White collared T-shirt with black pants
Grade 11 Girls – White T-shirt or blouse with black pants or skirt

The following schedule of activities shall be observed:
June 8, 2026 – Orientation and Meet-and-Greet with Class Advisers
Grades 7, 9 and 11 – 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Grades 8, 10 and 12– 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
June 9, 2026 – Orientation and Meet-and-Greet with Subject Teachers
June 10, 2026 – Assessment/Diagnostic Activities with Subject Teachers
(June 9 and 10 class activities shall follow the regular class schedule)

June 11, 2026 – Parents’ Orientation

Students will stay at home. Parents/guardians are required to attend the orientation based on the following schedule:

Grades 7. 9 and 11 – 8:00 AM
Grades 8,10 and 12 – 1:00 PM

June 15, 2026-Start of Instructional Block

All students and parents are advised to be guided accordingly.

𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴

Sa gitna ng nakabibinging hiyawan, palakpakan, at sigawan ng mga manlalaro, may isang tagpong hindi bahagi ng palatuntunan, walang medalyang makukuha, at walang mag-aanunsiyo sa entablado ng pagkapanalo—ngunit siya marahil ang pinakamatinding tumama sa aking damdamin.

Habang abala ang karamihan sa panonood ng mga laban, may isang tahimik na eksenang humila sa aking paningin sa isang sulok ng payag (kubo). Isang grupo ng mga bata ang magkakatabing nakaupo. Hindi sila nakatutok sa laro. Hindi sila sumisigaw para sa puntos. Hindi rin sila nakikipagtagisan ng lakas.

Sa harapan ng mga bata ay nakatayo si Ginoong Junjie Balidoy na isinasagawa ang "Tara Aral Kasama ang mga Atleta," 54 taong gulang, isang Dalub-g**o I sa Filipino mula sa Sorsogon National High School, Sorsogon City, na may 22 taon nang karanasan sa pagtuturo. Inisyatibo ito ng kaniyang dibisyon para palakasin ang ARAL Program ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon.

Volunteer reading tutor siya noon. Habang patuloy ang dagundong ng sigawan mula sa mga palaruan, pilit din niyang nilalakasan ang kaniyang tinig upang hindi maagaw ng ingay ang atensiyon ng kaniyang mga mag-aaral.

Wala siya sa gitna ng palakpakan. Wala ring medalya na naghihintay sa kaniya. Walang magtataas ng kaniyang kamay bilang kampeon. Ngunit malinaw sa tagpong iyon na isa rin siyang atleta—isang mandirigma sa larangan ng edukasyon.

Habang ang iba ay lumalaban para sa karangalan sa palaro, siya naman ay lumalaban upang may batang makabasa ng isang salita. Makaunawa ng isang pangungusap. Mabuksan ang pintuan ng isang pangarap.

Isa siyang g**ong Bikolano. Ang kaniyang mga mag-aaral ay mga batang taga-Agusan del Sur. Magkaiba ang rehiyon. Magkaiba ang pinagmulan. Ngunit pinagtagpo sila ng iisang layunin—ang matuto.

Sa simpleng tagpong iyon, muling napatunayan na ang edukasyon ay walang kinikilalang distansya, wika, o lugar. Kaya nitong paglapitin ang mga taong hindi man magkapareho ng pinanggalingan, basta’t pareho silang naniniwalang mahalaga ang pagbabasa.

At doon ko naunawaan ang tunay na diwa ng pagiging g**o. Hindi pala ito laging matatagpuan sa loob ng tahimik at maayos na silid-aralan. Minsan, makikita ito sa isang maingay na sulok ng payag—kung saan ang isang g**o ay patuloy na nagtuturo habang ang mundo sa paligid ay abala sa ibang laban.

Sa lahat ng tagpong nasaksihan ko noong araw na iyon, hindi pala ang sigawan ng laro ang pinakamaingay. Mas malakas ang tahimik na panawagan ng mga batang gustong matuto. Mas malakas pa roon ang tugon ng isang g**ong handang manatili, magturo, at lumaban.

Sapagkat si Sir Junjie ay hindi nag-iisa. Isa lamang siya sa libo-libong g**ong araw-araw na nakikipaglaban para sa kinabukasan ng bansa. Mga g**ong patuloy na nagtuturo, nagsisilbi, at nagsasakripisyo kahit natatabunan ng mas malalakas na ingay ng politika at mga usaping paulit-ulit na laman ng mga bulwagan ng kapangyarihan.

Ngunit nananatili silang nakatayo.

Dahil alam niyang ang tunay na pagbabago ng bansa ay hindi nagsisimula sa mga talumpati. Hindi rin sa mga matataas na gusali ng kapangyarihan.

Nagsisimula ito sa isang batang natututong bumasa. Sa isang batang nakauunawa. Sa isang batang muling nangangarap.

Ang mga laro ay magtatapos at unti-unting tatahimik ang gymnasium, mapapagod ang mga manonood, at itatabi ang mga bola’t medalya. Ngunit ang "kakaibang ingay sa sulok ng payag"—ang sabay-sabay na pagbigkas ng mga letra, ang pagbasa sa mga salita, at ang pagtatama sa mga maling pantig—ay ang uri ng ingay na patuloy na uukit sa kinabukasan ng mga batang ito.
