𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙐𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨

On 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the residents of 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘆𝗼 suffered from a life-threatening incident. A fire gutted Brgy. Banuyo in Pilar. It left hundreds of families without homes - only the clothes on their backs. In line with their aim to give back to the community, the SorSU-University Student Council successfully delivered and distributed hygiene kits and snacks for 280 fire incident victims on April 5, 2025, at Barangay Banuyo, Pilar, Sorsogon. In addition, University Student Council has also organized simple yet fun activities for the kids, rewarding them with loot bags filled with treats they can enjoy. Donated pre-loved clothes were also turned over to Barangay Banuyo and are to be distributed to all victims of the incident.

This student-led initiative is a testament that everything is possible if we come up with a single purpose, not just to help but to uplift communities, to touch souls, and to inspire others to do the same. The University Student Council believes that nothing is too little if we come together to achieve a common goal.
