The Department of Education (DepEd) – Sorsogon is looking for qualified individuals to serve as ARAL Tutors for the upcoming ARAL Summer Program in Guruyan NHS.

📌 Who may apply?
Applicants may include the following:
• Internal teacher-tutors
• Applicants listed in the Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA) but not yet hired
• College students currently enrolled in Teacher Education programs
•Retired teachers

📌 Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the standards and requirements set under DepEd Memorandum No. 001, s. 2026.

📌 Program Objective:
The ARAL Summer Program aims to help learners improve their reading, writing, and numeracy skills through the guidance of dedicated tutors.

Announcement from the Office of the School Head

Please be advised that due to a power outage, there will be no office transaction tomorrow, April 16, 2026.

Furthermore, per the attached DepEd Memorandum dated April 9, 2026, school-based personnel will be on Work-from-Home every Friday from April 10 to June 5, 2026.

Please also be reminded that teachers are on their uninterrupted vacation from April 1 to May 1, 2026.
