Castilla National High School is officially calling on passionate, responsible, and driven students to become the next leaders of the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) for School Year 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

The filing of candidacy is now open, 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆. This is your chance to make a difference, represent your fellow learners, and be a voice for positive change within our school community.

To run for office, each partylist must consist of the following key positions:
■ President (open to Grade 10 and Grade 11 students)
■ Vice President
■ Secretary
■ Treasurer
■ Auditor
■ Public Information Officer (PIO)
■ Protocol Officer
■ Business Managers (2)
■ Grade Level Representatives for Grades 8 to 12
(Please note that the election for the Grade 7 Representative is excluded yet)

Sounds official, right? But for us, it’s more than a name. It’s what we believe in. We believe that school should feel like a place where you belong, not a place you have to survive. Bullying? we’re not here for it. Whether it’s name-calling, dirty looks, being left out on purpose, or the kind of silence that says, “You’re not welcome”—we don’t let that slide. Not in our school. Not in our community.

Being 𝗛.𝗘.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧. means we look out for each other. It means smiling at someone in the hallway, standing up when something’s not right, and making room at the table. Literally and Figuratively. We don’t have to be best friends with everyone, but we do treat everyone with respect. Because let’s be honest, being kind doesn’t cost anything, but it means everything to someone who needs it. We’re not perfect, but we try. We show up. We speak out. And we make the kind of school where no one’s left sitting alone or feeling like they don’t matter. Here, differences are cool. Voices are heard. And kindness? Thats our default setting.

We are 𝗛.𝗘.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧. And we’re building a school that actually feels good to be part of, together.

National Children’s Month: Nurturing Environments Where Every Child Can Thrive

This National Children’s Month, we honor the truth that every child deserves more than survival—they deserve opportunities to grow, discover, and thrive. Children flourish best in environments where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore who they are and who they can become.

This month reminds us to look closely at the spaces children navigate every day: their homes, classrooms, playgrounds, and communities. Are these places filled with compassion, guidance, and understanding? Are we giving children the freedom to express themselves, the confidence to dream, and the assurance that they are never alone?

Through our collaboration with EDUCO Philippines, we continue strengthening programs that promote children’s total well-being—supporting families, empowering educators, and engaging communities to build nurturing environments rooted in respect, care, and inclusivity. These collective efforts help ensure that every child is surrounded by adults who listen, protect, and believe in their potential.

Let us reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where children feel valued and seen. When we invest in their well-being, we invest in a future that is brighter, kinder, and full of possibilities.

Bullying is a cycle that continues as long as people pretend not to see it. If you laugh along, you’re part of the problem. If you stay silent, you’re giving permission. Everyone deserves to feel safe; at school, at work, online, everywhere. It takes courage to speak up, but it takes even more courage to live with the pain of being treated as if you don’t matter. Be the voice for someone who’s losing theirs. Be the reminder that they are valued. Let’s break the cycle, not the person.
