Sa pagsaulog sa Women’s Month, atong dasigon ang matag babaye — ilabi na ang mga inahan nga nagapasuso — nga magpabiling himsog pinaagi sa husto ug balanseng pagkaon, subay sa Food and Nutrition Research Institute Pinggang Pinoy para sa lactating women.

Punoa ang plato og prutas, utanon, igo nga protina, ug pagkaong naghatag og enerhiya aron mapalig-on ang lawas ug masuportahan ang pagpasuso sa mga inahan.

Ang maayong nutrisyon makatabang sa inahan ug sa bata nga magpabiling himsog ug kusgan.

Sa pagtaas ng heat index, uso na ang mga heat-related illnesses. Ito ay nagdudulot ng dehydration, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, at heat stroke. ☀️🥵

Gawin ang mga sumusunod para iwas sa sakit ngayong mainit ang panahon:

🌞Iwasan lumabas ng bahay mula 9:00 AM hanggang 4:00 PM.

💧Laging uminom ng sapat na baso ng tubig araw-araw.

☂ Gumamit ng payong, pamaypay, o sombrero kapag lalabas.

👕Magsuot ng magaan, maluwag, at light colored na damit.

Kung nakararanas ng pagkahilo, lagnat, pangangalay, mainit at namumulang balat, o pagkawalang malay, agad na gawin ang mga sumusunod:

✅Ilipat ang pasyente sa lugar na malilim, malamig, at iwas sa tirik na araw.
✅Tumawag agad sa Emergency #911 o komunsulta sa pinakamalapit na health center.
✅Tanggalin ang mga damit na nakadadagdag sa init ng katawan.
✅Palamigin ang katawan gamit ang ice packs, pamaypay, at tubig.

Nipah virus causes a rare but serious illness that can spread from animals (such as bats or pigs) to people, contaminated fruits or fruit products - and sometimes between people.

Outbreaks are usually small and containable.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬?
⏱️ Nipah symptoms usually begin within a week - between 3–14 days after exposure.

🔍 Early detection and diagnosis are essential to reduce the risk of death.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
🦠 There is currently no specific medicine or vaccine for Nipah virus in people or animals.

⏱️ Early diagnosis and timely supportive care can greatly improve chances of recovery.

Remember: simple everyday actions can help prevent infection!
