The first day of the Southeast Asian Multidisciplinary Research Expo and Extension Conference (SEAMREEC) 2025 was a vibrant start to an exciting week of academic exchange and cultural celebration! The opening program, held at the Sorsogon City Convention Center, set the tone with inspiring messages and a warm welcome to delegates. Throughout the day, plenary talks and parallel sessions took place across multiple venues, including the Sorsogon State University Dormtel and E-Library, the Sorsogon City Convention Center, and the People’s Mansion, fostering rich discussions on innovative research and extension initiatives. As the sun set, the energy shifted to a festive Cultural Night, highlighted by Congresswoman’s Night in honor of Cong. Dette Escudero—an evening of performances, camaraderie, and Sorsogon’s vibrant heritage.
