Good day everyone! Today our Federation President Ernesto Burton had a conversation with our Alumni Trustee, Associate Professor and Unit Head, Scholarship and Financial Assistance Dr. Jhonner Ricafort.....had consultation wit the proper authorities on the Sorsogon State College CoVid-19 General Community Quarantine Guidelines issued by the President last April 29, 2020. We are glad to tell you that there in NOTHING TO WORRY about despite the College will not grant Mass Promotion since it is still favorable to us in our pursuit of knowledge. It is clear to the said guidelines that on-line classes are not mandatory but only an option as the College implements Home-based Flexible Learning Modalities. I believe that our faculty will be considerate and lenient in our requirements to obtain a passing grade in the subject amid the crisis. we should not be scared of having an INC rating because we still have the chance to comply in the succeeding academic year without incurring any fee for completion. We should also understand that the faculty are required to submit report of grades on the deadline set by the College.

Should you have issues and concerns with regards to the implementation of the guidelines by our faculty, please feel free to coordinate with the officers of the Federation of Students Council and College Students Council In four campuses.

We already did our best. We wish for your understanding because we've done so much to let our voice be heard. It's so saddening to think that perhaps one day all students will neglect and disrespect our institution. Now we can still handle things but the future is not sure. We don't know if we can even stay as strong as we should be, maybe one day we will also be one of those who keeps on fighting against our own place of learning.
We're doing this not just because of the dignity and name of our school but for the good and safety of all. Can't you here all the sounds of crying? The sounds of roaring ocean waiting for the wind to calm and finally grant what they need.

Due to some constraints such as financial and poor access to internet 69% of the total population of the students ( Bulan Campus, Castilla Campus, Magallanes Campus and Sorsogon City Campus) haven't respond on the survey. There are only 31% who responded.
