In celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day, Magallanes National High School / Magallanes School of Fisheries proudly united its student leaders and advocates for the environment. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), and In School Youth Responders (School DRR) worked hand-in-hand to clear and clean our coasts, proving that true change starts with teamwork and responsibility.

MAGALLANES, Sorsogon — Nakiisa ang Magallanes National High School sa isinagawang International Coastal Cleanup ngayong araw, September 20, 2025, na pinangunahan ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Magallanes.

Isa ang MNHS sa mga nakilahok sa nasabing aktibidad na naglalayong linisin at pangalagaan ang mga baybayin ng bayan. Dumalo rito ang mga opisyal ng School DRRMC, YES-O, Boy Scouts, at Girl Scouts, kasama ang ilang Club Advisers na sina Sir Oliver B. Lucenario at Ma’am Shena M. Dollisen.

Present din sa cleanup drive si Vice Mayor Augusto Manuel M. Ragragio, ang Municipal DENR, MDRRMO, FMPSTA, at iba pang kawani ng Lokal na Pamahalaan bilang pakikiisa sa kampanya para sa kalinisan at pangangalaga ng kalikasan.

Bilang bahagi ng panawagan, hinikayat ang lahat na patuloy na panatilihing malinis ang ating mga karagatan at baybayin para sa mas ligtas na kinabukasan. Malaking bahagi ng misyong ito ang ginagampanan ng mga paaralan na patuloy na nagmumulat at humuhubog sa kabataan tungo sa pagiging responsableng tagapangalaga ng kalikasan. 🌊🌊🌊

In preparation for the upcoming Intramurals 2025 on September 15–17, 2025, the MNHS In-School Youth Responders conducted a training on the principles of emergency care, basic first aid and life support, spine board management, lifting, and moving.

The training was actively participated by the members of SSLG, YES-O, and UPLIFT Guidance Club who showed dedication and eagerness to learn essential emergency skills.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined and participated—your commitment helps ensure a safer and more secure intramurals celebration for all.

| Fun Run 2025 | September 15, 2025 | 5:30 AM

Get ready to run for health, fun, and unity! As part of the MNHS Intramurals 2025, the MAPEH Department, in collaboration with all JHS and SHS teachers, school personnel, school organizations, and clubs, and with coordination with the Local Government Unit, MDRRM, Emergency Response Team, and Barangay Aguada Norte, brings you the MNHS Fun Run 2025.

✅ SAFETY MEASURES
• Medical response teams will be stationed along the route to attend to any emergencies.
• All participants are reminded to use only the right lane of the road for an organized and safe flow of the run.
• There will be five (5) stamps in total, with the first stamp given before the run starts, and the remaining four stamps to be collected at each station.
• Water stations are available at every station for hydration.
• Rescue personnel will be present at all stations to ensure the security and safety of runners.

• Station 1: Barangay Banacud
• Station 2: Barangay Central
• Station 3: Barangay Cawit Extension
• Station 4: Magallanes National High School

🗒️ To ensure a safe and enjoyable Fun Run, all participants are encouraged to follow the S.A.F.E. guidelines:

S – Stay in the right lane
A – Always follow station and route rules
F – Follow instructions of rescue and medical teams
E – Ensure you collect all stamps before finishing
