The Technology students showcased their intelligence and unity through 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬; 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 & 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐛𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐢: 𝐓𝐮𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐫, 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞. On April 23, 2026, the Technology Student Council (TSC) announced the overall top three winners of TECHBuklod: Technology Days 2026: Overall Champion – Mechanical Technology, Second Place – Architectural Drafting Technology, and Third Place – Electronics Technology.

On April 25, 2026, after rechecking the scores submitted by the head committees of each sub-event, we found errors in the encoding of scores per program. This affected the total scores we initially announced and changed the final rankings.
The corrected and official placement is as follows:
Overall Champion – Mechanical Technology
2nd Place – Electronics Technology
3rd Place – Architectural Drafting Technology

The Technology Student Council takes full responsibility for this mistake. We sincerely apologize to all student organizations, the Technology student body, and the program faculty for the confusion, disappointment, and distress we have caused.
We recognize the dedication, effort, and passion every program poured into TECHBuklod 2026, and we deeply regret that our error has overshadowed your achievements.

We humbly ask for your forgiveness and understanding. We commit to learning from this incident and doing better to uphold the trust you have placed in us.

On 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Technology Student Council held a 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭. With the help of the Organization Officers, Instructors, and mostly for the students who attended and supported their respective courses, this event became successful.

This marks the beginning of 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 2026, which is an event organized by Technology Students Organization (TSC) along with minor organizations celebrating and showcasing their skills and talents. On this day, we also acknowledge our honorable guests, especially the Dean of Technology Department, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑶𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑫. 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐, who made a great speech during this event.

The ceremony also included the Sashing Ceremony of Mr. & Ms. Technology 2026, in which all the representatives of each minor organization were introduced. There was a very good response from our audience, making it an exciting event for our candidates.

Special thanks to our host for starting off this event beautifully. Our hosts are Mary Rose Enclona, Secretary of TSC, and Stephanie Rabuy, Architectural Drafting Student.

All minor organizations, Mr. and Ms. Technology candidates, players, yell participants, COT faculty, and students actively joined the event. The parade was a great success, showcasing unity, creativity, and school spirit among everyone involved.

After the parade, a Holy Mass was held at SorSU Covered Court where all COT students gathered to give thanks and seek blessings for the celebration of Technology Days. Students and members of minor organizations participated solemnly, making the activity meaningful and memorable. The first day concluded with a strong sense of camaraderie and excitement for the upcoming events.

On April 21, 2026 at about 9:00 AM, RACU5, through the Sorsogon Provincial Cyber Response Team (PCRT), conducted a Cybercrime Awareness Lecture at Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Main Campus.

The session covered common cybercrime schemes such as phishing and love scams, as well as relevant laws including Republic Act No. 11313 and Republic Act No. 9995. Participants were also provided with practical tips to enhance online safety and prevent cyber-related threats.
