Ready, Alert, Safe: KWLC Holds School-Wide Earthquake Drill

In a proactive step toward emergency preparedness, the Kids Workshop Learning Center (KWLC) successfully conducted a comprehensive earthquake drill on June 29, 2026 aimed at sharpening the safety reflexes of its pupils and staffs.

The school-wide activity was spearheaded by Principal Joy M. Paredes and Assistant Principal Janine Barnedo, alongside dedicated teachers and school personnel.

As emergency bell echoed across the campus, pupils instantly 'Drop, Cover, and Hold', remaining securely beneath their desks until given the signal to evacuate the building safely.

Adding a realistic simulation to the exercise, a Grade 6 pupil participated by acting as an injured individual, while two teachers stepped up to perform rescue operations.

Following the successful evacuation drill, Principal Joy M. Paredes delivered an inspiring speech to remind the students and faculty of the vital importance of disaster readiness.

The school program concluded smoothly as pupils and teachers marched back to their classrooms to resume their regular lessons.
