STRENGTHENING ASSESSMENT AND LEARNER WELL-BEING: END-OF-TERM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF SOLANO 1
Day 2 | September 11, 2026 | Solano East Central School–ISC Gymnasium
The Day 2 of the End-of-Term 1 INSET of Solano 1 District continued with meaningful professional learning sessions designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, practices, and well-being as they respond to the evolving needs of learners and the demands of the profession.
Led by PSDS Dr. Mona Lisa A. Cabato, the district-wide professional development program was further strengthened through the monitoring visit of Dr. Melany M. Asuncion, Education Program Supervisor and Division Sports Officer, and Dr. Mermelita E. Guillermo, Education Program Supervisor for Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) of the Schools Division Office.
The Day 2 sessions featured the following relevant topics:

📌 PPST Features of Practice: Domain 3 – Diversity of Learners – Ernesto T. Valido Jr., Principal II
📌 Preparation of IPCR Target – Rogine D. Meria, EdD, Principal II
The sessions were made more meaningful through the active participation, thoughtful engagement, and collaborative involvement of the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Solano 1 District. Participants took part in discussions, sharing of insights and experiences, interactive activities, and reflection—demonstrating their commitment to continuous professional learning and improvement.
The successful implementation of the program was made possible through the able leadership of the Overall Program Manager, Mdm. Avigayle A. Olaya, Principal II of Aggub Elementary School, whose coordination and direction helped ensure the smooth delivery of the two-day professional development activity.
The district likewise acknowledges the active cooperation and support of all School Heads and Administrative Officers (AOs) of Solano 1 District. Their commitment, coordination, and shared responsibility contributed significantly to the success of the INSET and reinforced the spirit of collaboration toward continuous professional growth.
