🌟 ARAL Summer Program 2026

The Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program 2026 is a 20-day intensive, research-based, and voluntary summer tutorial program (May 6 – June 2, 2026) by the Department of Education (DepEd) to address literacy and numeracy gaps for Grades 1–10 learners.

📌Schedule & Implementation: May 6 to June 2, 2026, targeting Monday to Thursday sessions, with Friday reserved for home-based activities.

📌Target Learners:
👤Reading: Incoming Grades 2-4(Emerging Level) and Grades 5-6 (Frustration Level).
👤Mathematics: Incoming Grades 2-6 (Not/Low Proficient Levels).

*Classes: Monday to Thursday
(8:00 am - 10:00 am)
*Fridays: Dedicated Home Learning Time* 🏠

Specifically, the program aims to:
💡Bridge Learning Gaps: Address the significant learning loss in essential subjects—specifically Reading, Mathematics, and Science—caused by the pandemic and other education disruptions.

💡Strengthen Foundational Skills: Prioritize literacy and numeracy for Kindergarten to Grade 10 learners so they have the strong base needed for higher-level academic success.

💡Empower Educators & Families: Provide teachers with specialized strategies for remedial instruction while engaging parents to support their children's learning at home.

💡Ensure Inclusive Education: Reach the most vulnerable and struggling learners, ensuring that "No Learner is Left Behind" regardless of their background or current proficiency level.

The 12-point ethical values for RDELC and RDNEB in DepEd Region 2 are as follows:

• June: Self-Esteem (Pagpapahalaga sa Sarili)– Displaying self-empowerment to influence others and respond to the needs of the community.

• July: Cleanliness (Kalinisan) – Demonstrating protection to health by maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.

• August: Unity (Pagkakaisa) – Showing effort and willingness to participate in home, school, and community activities to achieve the common good.

• September: Empathy (Pagmamalasakit) – Expressing compassion for the feelings and situations of others.

• October: Respect (Pagkamagalang) – Exhibiting respect and acceptance in words and actions regardless of status, gender, religion, or race.

• November: Honesty (Pagkamatapat) – Telling the truth to parents and others and practicing honesty in all endeavors.

• December: Obedience (Pagkamasunurin) – Obeying the commandments of God and parents, and following community rules.

Charity (Pagkakawanggawa) – Manifesting a willingness to help those in need and sharing one's abilities for the progress of the community.

Mahal naming mga magulang,

Kung nagbabalak po kayong ienroll ang inyong anak sa Kindergarten nitong paparating na pasukan at wala pa pong birth certificate o may problema pa sa data entries sa birth certificate ang inyong anak, habang bakasyon, paglaanan na po ninyo ng oras na maayos ito. Obligasyon po natin ito bilang magulang at karapatan ng ating mga anak na maitala ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan sa Municipal Civil Registrar at PSA. Malaking tulong po ito sa mga g**o at sa paaralan. ❤️
