Principals Meeting @ SMA-Diffun

Principals and vice-principals from DBES schools met on April 23, 2026 at Saint Mary’s Academy, Diffun, Quirino to align preparations for the upcoming school year.

The meeting was facilitated by Fr. Romulo C. Felix, PhD, DBES Superintendent, and Dr. Feliciano Malaque, Academic Supervisor. Mrs. Anabelle Tacadena, MAED, principal of Saint Vincent School, Maddela, Quirino, shared her experience and insights as a pilot implementer of the strengthened Senior High School curriculum, while Mrs. Marissa G. Tiongson, MEd-EA, Vice Principal of SLCS, led the calendar calibration.

Key discussions included the finalization of the DepEd academic calendar, plotting of the tri-term schedule, fine-tuning the implementation of Senior High School, and updates on facilities repair and maintenance.

The gathering underscored a unified commitment to readiness, collaboration, and the holistic formation of every learner.

DBES Advances Financial Coordination Across Schools

Finance Officers from all DBES schools gathered on April 14, 2026, at the DBES Conference Hall, SLCS, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, for a comprehensive meeting focused on strengthening financial management across the system.

Key matters discussed included the Year-End Financial Performance Evaluation, school supplies and facilities inventory and purchases, budget appraisal and preparation, and the calibration of the computerized Financial Accounting System.

The meeting was facilitated by Fr. Romulo Felix, PhD, Schools Superintendent, together with Mr. Jeff Culanag, CPA, Financial Supervisor. The session aimed to ensure transparency, accountability, and unified financial processes among all DBES institutions.

DBES Holds Year-End Evaluation
of Campus Ministry and CLE Programs

The Diocese of Bayombong Educational System (DBES) conducted its School Year-End Evaluation of the Campus Ministry and Christian Living Education (CLE) programs on April 1, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the DBES Common Hall.

Present in the meeting were Campus Ministry coordinators from different DBES schools, together with Fr. Victor M. Abijay, Christian Formation Supervisor, and Fr. Juvert Calixtro, Assistant Christian Formation Supervisor. The session was facilitated by Fr. Romulo C. Felix, Superintendent.

During the evaluation, campus ministers shared their experiences, activities conducted throughout the year, and their observations in implementing the programs. They also presented their plans and expressed their hopes for the next school year.

The meeting aimed to assess and strengthen the Campus Ministry and CLE programs, in aid of crafting a consolidated manual of Christian Formation for the Diocese of Bayombong Educational System.

The activity concluded with a shared lunch.
