ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW STUDENT PHONE USAGE POLICY

Effective Monday, August 3, 2026

Dear Students and Parents,

Please be informed that there will be NO more "Cellphone Day" moving forward. This new AI-assisted learning initiative will serve as its official replacement.

Starting this Monday, students are PERMITTED to bring their personal cellphones to school for educational use in Science, Social Science,and Christian Ethics subjects.



HOW IT WORKS:

· Use: Students will use their phones to ask AI-based questions ONLY on topics assigned by the teacher, under strict classroom guidance.
· Collection: Teachers will collect all phones immediately after the class period ends.
· Data Requirement: Phones MUST have active mobile data (Wi-Fi not guaranteed). Students cannot use their phones if there is no data connection.



RULES & REMINDERS:

✅ Phones are for educational AI use only – no games, social media, or calls.
✅ Teachers supervise all AI interactions.
✅ Phones will be returned ONLY after the subject period ends.
✅ No data = no use. Period.
✅ Cellphone Day is officially canceled – this policy takes its place.

Parents: Please ensure your child's phone has sufficient data load for school days. The school is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen devices.

ANNOUNCEMENT: BOOK VOYAGE MONTH📖

Greetings, students! We are excited to announce our "Book Voyage Month" to celebrate the joy of reading. To make this month special, we invite all students to join the School Book Report Contest.

Mechanics & Guidelines:

Book Selection: All interested participants must secure one (1) book from the school library.

Report Format: Write a comprehensive book report(English/Filipino) with a minimum length of 2 pages (A4, 12-pt Times New Roman, double-spaced).

Content Requirements: Your report must include:
· Introduction: Title, Author, and Genre.
· Summary: Brief synopsis of the plot (no spoilers!).
· Personal Reflection: Discuss the theme and your overall thoughts on the book.

Judging Criteria:
Content & Substance (40%)
- Quality of summary, depth of character analysis, and clarity of personal reflection

Organization & Structure (20%)
- Logical flow of ideas, proper paragraphing, and adherence to the 2-page format

Grammar & Mechanics (20%)
- Correct spelling, punctuation, sentence construction, and overall writing proficiency

Creativity & Originality (20%)
- Unique insights, engaging writing style, and thoughtful personal connections to the book

TOTAL: 100%

Submission: Strictly submit your printed report to the Admin Office.

Deadline: All entries must be submitted on or before August 14. Late submissions will not be accepted.
