🐘 The first-ever fossil skull of a 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘰𝘯—an extinct relative of modern elephants—in the Philippines was discovered by a local in Solana, Cagayan (northern Luzon) and described by paleontologists from the UP Diliman College of Science (UPD-CS) and the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia.

Mag-aaral ng Andarayan National High School, nagpakitang gilas sa STEM-TVL Research Exhibit

Nagpakitang gilas ang mga mananaliksik ng Andarayan National High School sa katatapos lamang na STEM-TVL Research Exhibit ngayong ika-16 ng Marso taong 2025. Sa pangunguna ng Science and Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Club katuwang ang mga g**o ng Science Department, ang exhibit ay nagsilbing plataporma upang maipakita at maibahagi ang iba't ibang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa larangan ng agham, teknolohiya, at pananaliksik.

Sinimulan ang programa sa isang pormal na seremonya na dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral ng Grade 12 STEM at TVL, mga g**o ng Science Department, at mga kinatawan ng paaralan. Ang ribbon cutting ng nasabing exhibit ay ang naging hudyat ng opisyal na pagbubukas ng exhibit, na naging bukas naman sa lahat ng antas mula Grade 7 hanggang Grade 12.

Sa buong araw, masigasig na ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang mga proyekto—innovative man o non-innovative approach na mga imbensyon. Namangha ang mga manonood sa pagkamalikhain at husay ng mga estudyante, na siyang umani ng maraming papuri para sa kanilang mga gawa.

Ang tagumpay ng exhibit ay nagpapatunay sa dedikasyon ng mga mag-aaral at sa patuloy na pagtutok ng ANHS sa paglinang ng mga kasanayan sa research field. Inaasahan ang pagpapatuloy ng taunang kaganapan upang patuloy na mapalago ang interes at kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa larangan ng pananaliksik.
