LOOK// The CSU-SOLANA ROTC UNIT-AFFILIATED successfully conducted its 7th training day held on 22 August 2026 at the CSU SOLANA-LARA CAMPUS.

The activity was overseen by Sir. JOSHUA JOHN M. MICUA, ROTC Instructor together with GMA, and supported by the unit's, 1CL, and 2CL.

The day began with troop formation, wherein the 1CL and 2CL officers organized the cadets into platoons to facilitate proper accountability and attendance checking.

Following this, C/LTC JOSHELLE BRYNE P. DAYAG 1CL, facilitated the discussion on the Military Justice System. equipping cadets with knowledge of military laws, regulations, and the standards of conduct expected of every service member and reservist.

The session reinforced the cadets’ understanding of military standards while honing their bearing, coordination, and sense of responsibility as part of the ROTC program.

The activity was overseen by 1LT MARCELO C. CONTILLO PA (RES), Training Officer together with Sir. JOSHUA JOHN M. MICUA, ROTC Instructor and supported by the unit's GMA, 1CL, and 2CL.

The day began with the organization of troops where the 1CL, together with the 2CL, organized the cadets into platoons to facilitate accountability and checking upon their attendance.

Following this, 1LT MARCELO C. CONTILLO PA (RES), Training Officer facilitated the discussion on the AFP Organization.

This training deepened the cadets’ grasp of proper conduct, respect for the chain of command, and personal discipline — essential values that build character, strengthen unit unity, and maintain our standards of excellence.

The Cagayan State University–Solana-Lara Campus conducted a Crisis Management Symposium through the PROJECT RACE (Road Accident Control and Education) Program, in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Solana Traffic Management Group (STMG) with the participation or our ROTC cadets in entrance of colors.

The activity was attended by first-year students, who were oriented on the importance of preparedness, awareness, and proper response to crises and road-related incidents.

Joining the activity were representatives from the partner agencies, PLTCOL Keenan T. Ruiz, Chief of Police and Crime Prevention Awareness Officer of Solana Police Station, PCPT Remedios C. Malazzab, Operation/MCAD Officer of Solana Police Station, of the Philippine National Police (PNP), FINSP Monalisa A. De Guzman, Municipal Fire Marshal, of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Solana Fire Station, Mr. Angie P. Maguigad, Traffic Operation Officer of the Solana Traffic Management Group (STMG), who shared their expertise and guidance with the participating students.

The activity served as a meaningful avenue for students to gain practical knowledge and develop greater awareness of their roles in promoting safety and preventing accidents.

The activity was overseen by 1LT MARCELO C. CONTILLO PA (RES), Training Officer together with Sir. JOSHUA JOHN M. MICUA, ROTC Instructor and supported by the unit's GMA, 1CL, and 2CL.

The day began with the organization of troops where the 1CL, together with the 2CL, organized the cadets into platoons to facilitate accountability and checking upon their attendance.

Following this, C/LTC JOSHELLE BRYNE P. DAYAG 1CL who facilitated the discussion on the Legal Basis of ROTC module, covering Republic Act 7077 or the National Reservist Act, and Republic Act 9163 or the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act.

The session deepened the cadets' understanding of the program they are part of, their legal obligations, and how this training will help them grow as responsible citizens and future leaders

The CALVARY HILLS MASONIC LODGE NO. 508, under THE MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF THE PHILIPPINES, successfully conducted its 1ST BLOOD-LETTING ACTIVITY at DOH Wellness Clinic, SM Downtown, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The activity was supervise by 1LT Marcelo C. Contillo PA (RES) together with the DOH WELLNESS CLINIC and DOH REGIONAL BLOOD CENTER. The program ran from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.and was participated in by volunteer ROTC cadets

The activity was conducted under the theme "SA MASONERIYA, DUGONG ALAY, BUHAY KAAGAPAY". The purpose of this initiative is to promote voluntary blood donation and to extend humanitarian service to those in need.

Through this blood-letting activity, the Lodge upheld the Masonic values of charity, service, and brotherhood by giving the gift of life to others.
