From September 25–30, 2026, Kahupian Integrated School celebrated the spirit of Science and Mathematics through a week filled with learning, creativity, teamwork, strategy, and exciting challenges, anchored on the theme:
“Science and Mathematics in Action: Driving Innovation, Critical Thinking, and Solutions for a Strong and Sustainable Future.”

Our learners put their skills to the test and showed that Science and Mathematics can be both meaningful and fun through a variety of engaging activities:

More than winning, the celebration gave our learners opportunities to think critically, work collaboratively, create boldly, and solve creatively-skills that help prepare them to become responsible innovators and problem-solvers for a stronger and more sustainable future.

🎒 📚 LGU-Sogod Distributes School Bags and School Supplies to KIS Elementary Learners

Earlier this morning, September 29, 2026, the LGU-Sogod, led by Hon. Sheffered Lino S. Tan, Municipal Mayor of Sogod, and Hon. Imelda U. Tan, Former Municipal Mayor of Sogod, distributed school bags and school supplies to the elementary learners of Kahupian Integrated School.

KIS warmly appreciates this generous gesture of support for our learners. May this simple act of kindness inspire them to continue learning and reaching for their dreams.

Some words deserve to be said, especially to the teachers who have inspired, guided, and believed in us. This Teacher's Day, the 𝗞𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) invites all students to express their gratitude through a heartfelt digital letter dedicated to their favorite teacher.

𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀

1. Write a heartfelt and meaningful letter dedicated to your favorite teacher.
2. Share your personal experiences, memories, and moments with your chosen teacher. You may talk about how they inspired you, helped you through challenges, encouraged you to become better, or made a difference in your life as a student.
3. Make your message sincere and based on your own experiences and feelings. There is no required length, but participants are encouraged to write enough to fully express their appreciation and gratitude.
4. You may also share how you have grown as a person or as a student because of the guidance, lessons, and support you received from your teacher.
5. 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲.
6. All submitted letters will be collected and reviewed by the organizers.

The two-day training featured sessions on Inclusive Education, DepEd Directives, Challenges in Inclusion, Teachers’ Narratives, Differentiated Instruction, Formative Assessment, Language-Sensitive Pedagogy, Lesson Sequencing, Remedial Planning, and Professional Growth.

The activity provided teachers with meaningful opportunities to deepen their knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen classroom practices toward a more inclusive and learner-centered education-making teaching more purposeful, responsive, and fruitful for every learner.
