The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) proudly celebrates our fellow officers who participated in the Municipal Schools Press Conference (MSPC) 2026, held on September 2, 2026, at Sogod Central School.

As student leaders, their participation in campus journalism reminds us that leadership goes beyond taking action—it is also about using our pens and voices to inform, inspire, and create meaningful change. Through their stories and perspectives, they continue to show that young voices can make a difference both within and beyond the school community.

Each recognition reflects not only their talent, dedication, and hard work but also the guidance and support of their coaches and teachers, who continue to nurture their skills. More than just a competition, the MSPC provided these young journalists with an opportunity to hone their craft, gain valuable experience, and strengthen their confidence as storytellers.

Through journalism, they continue to discover the power of words and the responsibility that comes with telling stories that matter. Their journey reminds us that every article written, every story told, and every voice raised can become a catalyst for awareness and positive change.

Congratulations to all our young journalists! May you continue to write with purpose, speak with courage, and inspire others through your stories. 📝✨

🌱 Tiny Steps, Greener Future! 🌍

Even as waste continues to accumulate, YES-O thinks that small steps like appropriate waste segregation and clean-up drives can have a significant impact.

We've come together as a group today to demonstrate how modest group efforts can have a lasting effect on the environment. A straightforward "Pag Limpyo ug Pag Labay sa Saktong Basurahan" can help create a more sustainable environment.

Let's work together to maintain our school's cleanliness and create a more sustainable, green future. 💚♻️

Awareness, education, and action are the foundation of environmental protection. 🌱💚

The YES-O Environmental Symposium equipped learners with the knowledge and sense of responsibility needed to take care of our environment. Through meaningful discussions on climate change, biodiversity conservation, waste management, water conservation, and energy efficiency, participants were inspired to recognize that every small action contributes to a healthier and more sustainable future.

By educating today’s youth, we are shaping tomorrow’s environmental leaders. Let us work together to protect our natural resources, care for our environment, and build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community. 🌍✨
