The SLSU YouthMappers officers have officially begun their journey at the Visayas Geodetic Engineering Student Conference (VisGESC) 2026 held at the RDE Hall, Visayas State University, Baybay City, Leyte.

Day 1 was filled with meaningful learning, insightful discussions, and inspiring talks that deepened our understanding of GIS and geospatial science and their important role in creating more sustainable communities.

Beyond the sessions, this experience allowed us to strengthen our leadership, build connections with fellow YouthMappers and Geodetic Engineering students, and represent SLSU with pride.
