Special program for BLEN reviewee
A special program was held for the graduates who are reviewing for the Board Licensure Exam for Nurses (BLEN) on June 4, 2016 at Bocawcan SDA School (BSDAS), Baguio City.
After the church service, the reviewees, their family, friends, and special someone, and NLAC faculty members shared a sumptuous lunch.
After the fellowship meal, the group prepared their hearts for the footwashing and communion service. Pastor Lowel Domocmat and Pastor Huxcley Segundo officiated the sacred program.
The program ended with testimonies and thanksgiving to God by our graduates. Also, pieces of advise was given by Ms. Irene Gay Gunong of Batch 2015 who recently passed the BLEN and from one of the parents Mrs. Revil.
In addition, Mr. Ric O' Bryant Zarate shared some practical tips in passing the exam such as: to be happy when you are sleepy during the exam (Why? It's the group's secret!) ; letting the subconscious mind help you; and it's ok to have erasures and change your answer if you are very sure about your new answer. He also mentioned the previous week that BLEN passers who will have 80 and above rating will receive a treat from him. And the offer is still open.
Lastly, Mrs. Carmela Domocmat shared to the group Isa 41:10 which states, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." She related that the SON was born on June 1994 and had its first batch took the BLEN on 1998 with 100% passing rate. She believes that batch 2016 could also make the same history. She ended with the words, "Mahal namin kayo."
