ALEGRIA, SURIGAO DEL NORTE | SEPTEMBER 22–24, 2026 β€” The pens were ready, the stories were written, and the young journalists of Sison Central Elementary School SPED Center stepped up to the challenge at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2027.

The competition unfolded in two rounds. In the first round, ALL Sison CES journalists made it through, bringing pride to the school and showing their skill, preparation, and determination. βœοΈπŸ“°

Please be informed that in-person classes at Sison Central Elementary School SPED Center are suspended effective today, August 14, 2026, due to the prevailing extreme heat conditions.

We kindly ask parents/guardians to ensure that learners stay in safe, well‑ventilated areas while accomplishing their tasks and to immediately seek assistance if children show signs of heat-related illness.

Further announcements regarding the resumption of in-person classes will be made through official school communication channels.

BLESSING AND TURN-OVER CEREMONY OF DRSLCπŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸŽ€

Today, August 12, 2026, Sison Central Elementary School SPED Center proudly celebrates the Blessing and Turn-Over Ceremony of the Disaster Response System for Learning Continuity (DRSLC) with the theme, β€œStrengthening Preparedness. Ensuring Continuity, Empowering Learning, Anytime, Anywhere β€œ., this meaningful occasion marks another milestone in our commitment to ensuring that learning continues even in the face of disasters and emergencies.

The ceremony features the blessings officiated by Rev. Fr. Joselito P. Mira, DCS., cutting of ribbons, turn-over of key of responsibilities and acceptance by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Segundino A. Madjos, CESO VI and Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Angelito M. Naquila signifying the shared commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and ensuring learning continuity for every learner.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our DepEd officials, LGU partners, teachers, parents and stakeholders for making this milestone possible.

The Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program of Sison Central Elementary School SPED Center, anchored on the theme β€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” was truly a meaningful and successful start of our school preparation.

The program began with an opening led by our very own School Principal, Ma’am Flordelina T. Papeleras, Principal III, whose warm welcome set the tone for a day filled with unity and purpose.

The event became even more inspiring through the powerful message shared by Sir Marcial B. Cubelo Jr.,JD, Public Schools District In-Charge, who encouraged everyone to continue supporting the culture of bayanihan in education.

What made the program even more memorable were the sincere and touching messages from our different stakeholders, whose words reflected genuine care, commitment, and shared responsibility for our learners and school.

This successful kick-off would not have been possible without the strong support, cooperation, and presence of our partners and community.
