The NSTP students of Governor Mariano E. Villafuerte Community College-Siruma gathered for the “Holistic Student Development Seminar,” a meaningful learning experience focused on student growth, discipline, responsibility, and mental wellness.
Mr. Ghary Lance Bibe, a BS Psychology graduating student from the University of Nueva Caceres and campus leader in student journalism and documentation, shared insights on self-discipline and accountability in shaping responsible individuals–values that help NSTP learners become dependable, proactive, and community-oriented individuals.
Ms. Dewi Margarette Aven, a BS Biology graduating student from the same university, award-winning campus journalist, and active student leader, discussed healthy ways to manage stress and emphasized the importance of mental health awareness, reminding students that mental health awareness is essential in becoming resilient and effective future leaders and volunteers.
More than just a seminar, the activity served as a reminder that NSTP is not only about service, but also about developing competent, disciplined, and emotionally strong individuals committed to nation-building.
Special thanks to the NSTP facilitators, student officers, speakers, and everyone behind the success of this meaningful activity.
