Lubigan Sr High School Lubigan Sr High School is a secondary school at Brgy. Lubigan Sr., Sipocot, Camarines Sur. After 2 years of operation, it was granted with Goverrnment Permit no.

The school started as annex/extension class of Sipocot National High School way back S/Y 2013-2014. (R-V), 006, s.2015 and school I.D. no. 309775. On School year 2013-2014, it's initial enrolment was 48 students and the next following year, it increased to 117 students. At present it has an enrolment of 170 and by this coming school year. It is estimated to have an enrolment of 240 students. As an

infant school, one of our problems is the shortage of classrooms. Before the opening of classes this school year 2016-2017, the school administration with the help of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) and stakeholders, constructed another makeshift building to address the problem. With the above-cited situation, we are compelled to ask/solicit any financial or material assistance from NGO's and civic spirited individuals to extend their share in order to realize our mission of helping our school children to be a responsible and productive citizen of our country. The Sipocot South District Monitoring and Validation Team conducted an on-site pre-validation and monitoring activity at Lubigan Sr High School, focusing on the Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Phil-IRI results, teachersโ€™ records, and the school headโ€™s PPSSH domains and strands.

As part of the validation, all Grade 7 learners were given the opportunity to read a passage and answer comprehension questions, while randomly selected learners from Grades 8โ€“10 were asked to read passages to assess their reading performance.

The activity aimed to validate submitted data, review pertinent records, and ensure the proper implementation of literacy programs and professional standards. It also provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and strengthen school-based practices for better learner outcomes.

LSHS extends its appreciation to the monitoring team, school head, and teachers for their cooperation, dedication, and commitment to promoting quality education and continuous improvement.

Congratulations to Lubigan Sr High School for being recognized as a WINs Sustainability Awardee during the awarding ceremony held at the Naga Regent Hotel, July 22, 2026.

The award was proudly received by Mr. Cedric P. Abano, School WINS Coordinator, together with Sir Ramil C. Rezarin, School Head. This recognition reflects the school's unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WinS) practices and providing a safe, healthy, and learner-friendly environment for all.

Lubigan Sr High School successfully conducted its Deworming Day on July 6, 2026, in support of promoting the health and well-being of our learners.

The activity was facilitated by our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Sir Cedric P. Abano, our WINs coordinator, with the invaluable assistance of the class advisers. Through this collaborative effort, our students received proper deworming services in a safe and organized manner.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our health workers and all the advisers for their commitment and support in ensuring the success of this important health initiative.

Yesterday, June 26, 2026 was indeed a memorable and blessed day as the Lubigan Sr High School family gathered at the Lubigan Sr High School Covered Court for a meaningful 3-in-1 event: the Holy Mass, the Blessing of the Makeshift Classrooms and Renovated Building, and the GPTA General Assembly Meeting.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Aldrin for celebrating the Holy Mass and leading the blessing of our school facilities. Your prayers and guidance have reminded us that every new beginning is a blessing from God.

We also extend our sincerest appreciation to Hon. Congressman Hori Horibata for prioritizing the needs of our school and making these improvements possible. Your unwavering support is a testament to your commitment to providing a better learning environment for our learners.

Our special thanks as well to Atty. Tito Veras, Municipal Councilor of Sipocot, for graciously representing Congressman Horibata during this memorable occasion. Aktibong nakilahok ang Mataas na Paaralan ng Lubigan Sr sa Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill na isinagawa kahapon Hunyo 18, 2026 ganap na 9:00 ng umaga na pinangunahan ni G. Cedric Abaรฑo (School Health Coordinator), katuwang ang mga g**o at partisipasyon ng mga mag-aaral.

Bumuo ng ibaโ€™t ibang grupo para sa nasabing aktibiti tulad ng Rescue, Communication, Security, Evacuation at First Aid/Medical team upang lubos na maunawaan, matiyak at mailapat ang kahandaan sa lindol.

Dagdag pa rito, nagkaroon rin ng pagpapalawak ng kaalaman si Sir Cedric hinggil sa mga pangunahing hakbang sa earthquake drill. Ayon sa kaniya, โ€œKailangang maisagawa ang ganitong aktibiti upang maging handa ang tao sa totoong lindol dahil hindi natin alam kung kailan ito tatama gayundin upang maiwasan ang panic, aksidente at pagkasugat.โ€

Tunay na ang mga ganitong uri ng aktibiti ay hindi dapat ipinagsasawalang bahala dahil sa oras ng sakuna, TAMANG KAALAMAN AY BIYAYA.

Today marks the beginning of another thrilling academic year. Students of Lubigan Sr High School kick off the new academic year with a very high spirit.

The first day began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Ma'am Carmela Ursua, followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Ma'am Juliet L. Llanera.

SSLG President, Ranie E. Alemania, initiated the Panatang Makabayan. While Lian D. Pacon, SSLG Vice President, took over for the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.

To empower everyone's enthusiasm, selected SSLG officers demonstrated a quick dance energizer. Next to that was the introduction of LSHS faculty and staff spearheaded by the faculty president, Sir Nestor B. Cordero Jr.

An inspirational message and Introduction to opening block activities for learners was delivered by Ma'am Neizle Atienza, SHS Coordinator, and Sir Sherwin Alemania, JHS Coordinator. Lastly, everyone united to dance along the Lubigan Sr Hymn.

Let us fill this school year with meaningful learning, new friendships, exciting experiences and more opportunities to grow and develop.
