Project HARIGI, which comes from the Filipino word meaning "foundation," embodies the idea of establishing solid community and educational foundations via empowerment and teamwork. The College of Education, together with the Kaya Natin! Youth, the Guild of English Major Students (GEMS), the College of Education Student Council (CESC), the Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC), COE-The Builders, and the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) Organization. With the shared objective of promoting development and learning, each group contributes special talents and commitment to this undertaking. Project HARIGI is set to take place at Aldezar Sipocot Integrated School in Aldezar, Sipocot, Camarines Sur, over the course of three days, from October 1 to October 3, 2025.
Through workshops, tutoring, and interactive activities centered on a range of subjects and skills, the project seeks to provide extension services that enhance the educational experience and address community needs. Project HARIGI aims to build a strong foundation for students and the larger community by bringing together the efforts of student councils, youth organizations, and education students. It highlights the value of teamwork, empowerment, and service in developing well-rounded students who are prepared for obstacles in the future. By enhancing local education and encouraging community involvement for sustainable development, this project ultimately hopes to make a lasting positive impact.
