On February 26, 2026, the Career Guidance program was successfully held on Gil Montilla National High School, with the theme “Build your Future: One Choice at a Time”. The event highlighted the importance of building your future with small and easy steps, reminding everyone that choices must not be made hastily, rather, with careful consideration.
It was also reminded that passion and interest play a significant role in choosing a career. Jobs must not only meet people's financial needs but also bring fulfillment, in order to meet every challenge arising with optimism. This serves as their driving force to continue, to keep living, and to never stop chasing their goals.
Prior to the event, the Grade 7, 8, and 9 shared their fancied careers through drawing “My Future Me“, showcasing their dreams. Similarly, the students of Gil Montilla expressed their passion for a bright tomorrow through wearing outfits that reflect their desired occupation.

With proper guidance, the students' future shines bright. It shines even brighter when we make simple choices that have a positive impact on our journey. As the song goes, “buhay ay di karera”, choose simply, live happily, and make one decision at a time.
