The real challenge is making sure you don’t repeat the same mistake. If you do, your admission looks like an excuse for carelessness rather than a commitment to improvement.

It's unfair to accuse someone of "not working hard enough" when they're clearly putting in the effort. The key isn’t just about working hard—it’s about working on the right things. One hour spent solving the right problem is far more valuable than ten hours wasted on the wrong one. So, take the time to think about where your focus should be. Effort is important, but direction is everything. Make sure you are working hard on the right things.
