3-Day Division Camporee 2025

The Gil M. Montilla Elementary School proudly joined the 3-day Division Camporee, on October 10-12, 2025, with 37 registered boy scouts representing our school spirit and teamwork!

Our Cluster 2 Scouts shone brightly, bringing home several awards such as:
🏅 Best in Sanitation
🏅 Best in Camp Layout
🏅 Clean and Green
🏅 Camp of the Day

We also celebrate our scouts for winning Best Patrol and showcasing their skills in the Fancy Drills competition!

It was truly a fun-filled event full of learning, adventure, and camaraderie. Scouting spirit lives on!

GMMES BSP & GSP Joint Backyard Encampment 2025!

Last October 3–4, 2025, the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Twinklers, Star Scouts, Kid and Kab Scouts of GMMES gathered for a 2-day Backyard Encampment filled with fun, excitement, and learning!

From First Aid demonstrations, survival cooking, an obstacle course and Artwork activity, to the memorable campfire activity, our young scouts showcased teamwork, leadership, and the true spirit of scouting.

Truly, it was an unforgettable experience that strengthened friendship and shaped future leaders!

A Day of Giving and Remembrance

Today, we witnessed the Turnover of Donations from LBC Foundation in honor of our shared commitment to education and community service.

This meaningful event was held alongside the Commemoration of the 149th Birth Anniversary of Don Gil Miranda Montilla, our school benefactor and a man whose legacy of generosity and leadership continues to inspire us.

We are honored to be joined by Hon. Ralph Alvarez and our Schools Division Superintendent, Bernie L. Libo-on, PhD, whose presence made this occasion even more special.

Together, we celebrate both the spirit of bayanihan and the enduring legacy of Don Gil Miranda Montilla. 🫶🫡
