𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘| 𝗟𝗦𝗣𝗨-𝗦𝗖 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝟯𝟯.𝟯𝟯% 𝗟𝗘𝗔 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲

Laguna State Polytechnic University–Siniloan Campus (LSPU-SC) obtained an overall rating of 33.33% in the November 2023 Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA), December 4.

Out of 105 SC aspirants who took the examination, 35 have successfully passed, thereby contributing to the overall National Passing Rate of 34.18%.

First-time SC takers registered a success rate of 39.02%, while repeaters accumulated a rate of 13.04%.

World Soil Day, observed on December 5th annually, was established by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2013. It aims to globally raise awareness about the essential role of soil in sustaining life and promoting sustainable practices. The day addresses specific themes each year, emphasizing issues such as soil pollution, erosion, biodiversity, and sustainable management. The " " campaign, launched in 2019, is a key component, focusing on the impacts of soil erosion and advocating preventive measures. Activities include seminars, workshops, and campaigns, engaging diverse audiences. The Global Soil Partnership (GSP) facilitates these efforts. World Soil Day aligns with Sustainable Development Goals related to food security, water management, climate action, and biodiversity conservation.
