As we commemorate his 165th birth anniversary, let us reflect on his teachings and strive to embody his values in building a just, progressive, and united Philippines.

To secure safety and minimize the risk of accidents, the Laguna State Polytechnic University-Siniloan Campus (LSPU-SC) hosted a three-day seminar on Basic Incident Command System Course (BICS) held at the Research and Development Hall, May 25-27.

Spearheaded by the University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (UDRRO), alongside the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) CALABARZON, the event aimed to help participants understand the critical considerations required for effective incident and event planning.

The discussion was led by keynote speakers from Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Laguna (UDRRO) which consists of Mr. Arlon Chavez, Ms. Mai-Millares-Cabantog, Mr. Richard F. Alba, and Ms.Wyeth Lumidao-Fernandez.

The Laguna State Polytechnic University-Siniloan Campus (LSPU-SC) and the Local Government Unit of Pangil (LGU-Pangil) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at innovating and empowering community health frontliners through information technology, May 29.

The project titled “ITECH-KA: Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) Monitoring Platform for Health Services in the Community: Technology Transfer Approach” introduces the implementation of a web-based data management system designed specifically for the BHWs under the local Rural Health Unit (RHU).

ITECH-KA aimed to simplify record-keeping, generate reports, manage data, and plan healthcare services. By digitizing paper-based data, the system helps BHWs assess and prioritize areas, distribute resources efficiently, and carry out prompt interventions.

In his welcome remarks during the signing ceremony at the University Board Room, Dr. Marlon M. Wankey, Campus Director, emphasized the high time to adopt technological innovation to continuously improve the delivery of public service.

l 𝗟𝗦𝗣𝗨 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝟵𝟯.𝟳𝟳% 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) competed in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 at the LSPU–San Pablo City Campus (SPCC) Ground, where the university’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) earned a final rating of 93.77%, June 8.

In his welcome remarks, Mr. Avelino B. Audije, NSTP Director, said that the event provided an avenue for the ROTC to showcase the hard work, discipline, dedication, and commitment of the officers, cadets, and staff.

Director Audije noted that this is the first time that the LSPU participated in RAATI as one unified system, stating, “This milestone reflects the strong collaboration, commitment, and shared vision of all our campuses in promoting excellence in the ROTC program.”

"Knowledge harvested, ideas shared! The College of Agriculture Research Congress wraps up with innovation and inspiration."

The College of Agriculture proudly concludes its Research Congress 2026, a gathering that celebrates innovation, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. Over the course of the event, students, faculty, and researchers came together to showcase groundbreaking studies, exchange ideas, and explore solutions to pressing agricultural challenges. The congress truly exemplified the spirit of learning and discovery that drives the agricultural community forward.

This year’s event highlighted the impressive work of students and faculty from BS Agriculture Major in Crop Science, BS Agriculture Major in Animal Science, BS Agriculture Major in Agricultural Extension, and BS Agribusiness, showcasing the diverse expertise and research excellence that defines the college.

There are 6 Categories 3 categories in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and 3 categories in Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with each category has a best Presenter and best Poster.

By engaging students across disciplines from Animal and Crop Science to Agribusiness and Agricultural Extension, the College cultivates innovation, addresses real-world challenges, and contributes meaningfully to sustainable development, economic growth, and improved quality of life.

As the event concluded, it was clear that the College of Agriculture Research Congress had achieved more than just sharing knowledge, it had inspired a new wave of ideas and motivated the participants to continue their pursuit of excellence in agricultural research. The insights gained, the discussions held, and the connections made will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of agriculture both locally and globally.
