The Chemical Engineering Student Society extends its grandest and most heartfelt congratulations to 𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙍. 𝙅𝙊𝙎𝘾𝙀𝙇 𝙄𝙅𝙐𝙍𝙋𝙀, 𝙍𝘾𝙝𝙀 , for successfully passing the Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination!

Being the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩-𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧 in the history of our institution, you have not only achieved a personal dream but have also paved the way and set a monumental precedent for all ChE students of MSU-MCSE. LOOK | MSU-MCSE Successfully Produces its First Registered Chemical Engineer

Batch Lawig Pioneer — Engr. Joscel Ijurpe, RChE, of Mindanao State University - Main Campus Sindangan Extension (MSU – MCSE), marked as the first-ever chemical engineer of the institution, combating valiantly with her three-day tough sail during the 2026 Registered Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination (RChELE) last May 20–22 at Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Out of the 728 examinees for the ChELE 2026, Engr. Ijurpe stands tall among the 565 takers, resulting in a 77.61% national passing rate, while MSU-Main Campus also produced a 77.78% passing rate for the first-time takers, demonstrating a testament to grit and excellence and embodying the spirit of resilience that makes pride in the community of MSU-MCSE.

With this milestone, Engr. Ijurpe’s success underscores the campus’ growing community for outstanding licensed professions that excel beyond recognition, reaching skills and mastery that continue to inspire future chemical engineers.
