In her message, Mayor Glona G. Labadlabad, emphasized that the establishment of the Sindangan campus was a strategic move to make quality higher education accessible by removing the financial and personal barriers of traveling far from home. She noted that these honors are a shared achievement, made possible through the discipline of the students, the sacrifices of their families, and the guidance of their educators.
The Mayor further challenged the honorees to view their education as a responsibility, urging them to apply their knowledge in ways that create a concrete impact on their families and the local community. She highlighted that the progress of Sindangan depends on professionals who remain grounded in local realities and are committed to contributing solutions to their own municipality.
Reaffirming her administration's support, Mayor Labadlabad assured the community that the Municipal Government of Sindangan will continue to prioritize educational opportunities, reminding the graduates that true success is measured by the depth of one's contribution to others.

In his address at today’s Crème de la Crème honors program at MSU-Sindangan, Mindanao State University System President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA, shared a message centered on the true meaning of excellence. He noted that while medals and honors symbolize academic success, they more importantly represent the discipline, late nights, and perseverance students maintained despite pressure and fatigue.
The President reminded the awardees that true excellence extends beyond grades. He emphasized that the nation requires principled graduates who understand that their education carries a fundamental responsibility to serve others and contribute to nation-building. Closing his remarks, he urged the students to ensure their achievements remain a source of responsibility rather than arrogance, carrying the MSU legacy with both competence and integrity.
President Tago also extended his gratitude to the faculty and the Local Government Unit of Sindangan for their shared commitment to sustaining the campus's high standards. He remarked that the strength of MSU-Sindangan is a reflection of institutional sacrifice and a local government that views education as a vital investment in the future. By fostering principled leaders, he noted that the university continues to prove that academic excellence in Mindanao is a tradition that the entire OneMSU System must continue to strengthen.
