𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒| Javellana of JHS Bags 3rd Place in Tour Guiding Competition

Arwyn Marhiz M. Javellana, a JHS student of Silay Institute, won 3rd place in the Tour Guiding Competition during the World Tourism Week 2023 held in Silay City earlier today.

"I experience joy, of course, and happiness to present Silay Institute in the competition," she said.

Arwyn received the award with her coaches, Mrs. Lovelyn Tortogo and Mrs. Clarish Andrade at Silay City Public Plaza.

This accomplishment brings yet another honor to the Silay Institute community.

Ipinagdiwang ng mga mag-aaral ng Silay Institute ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansang ngayong ika-31 ng Agosto 2023 na may temang: "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Wika Ng Kapayapaan, Seguridad, at Ingklusibong Pagpapatupad ng Katarungang Panlipunan" kung saan muling binigyang buhay ang mga katutubong sayaw at kanta.

Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino! Mabuhay ang bawat Pilipino! Maligayang Buwan ng Wika!

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is a five (5)-member committee constituted to serve as trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), a permanent and irrevocable trust fund.

Due continuous moderate to heavy rains since Sunday afternoon caused by Enhanced Southwest Monsoon affecting Negros Occidental , The Silay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council extends the CANCELLATION of Classes for Both Public and Private Schools for ALL LEVELS (including teachers and school workers) in Silay City for tomorrow August 30, 2023. Thus, all Security, Medical and Emergency Services of the City are excluded.

Silaynons are still advised to monitor and report untoward accidents to our Silay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
