Good day my fellow Silaynons,
Due to the inclement weather we are currently experiencing in Silay City brought about by the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon intensified by Super Typhoon “NANDO” {RAGASA} and the presence of two (2) Low Pressure Areas being monitored as of the moment,
I hereby declare the SUSPENSION of FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES in BOTH PUBLIC and PRIVATE SCHOOLS for ALL LEVELS (including Teachers, Faculties, Staff, and School Workers) as well as WORK IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES within Silay City for TODAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025. However government offices who are responsible for basic health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services to ensure public safety shall continue operations.
The Silay City DRRM Council encourages everyone to remain vigilant, follow only official advisories, and prioritize safety at all times.
