Our Primary 1 and Primary 2 learners came together for our Term 2 Culminating Activity, “Learning Through the Four Seasons”—a celebration of their journey, growth, and discoveries throughout the term.
Each season reflected a part of their learning—moments of curiosity, confidence, creativity, and connection. More than the lessons they have learned, it was their courage to stand, speak, and share that truly made this day special.
As we close Term 2, we look ahead to Term 3—the final chapter of this school year—with grateful hearts and hopeful beginnings.
Every season tells a story, and this one is worth remembering.
Congratulations to our Primary 1 and 2 students! 🥳

Yousuf Abdou, an AS Level student, successfully hosted a table tennis tournament as part of his CSC project. This event showcased both the fun and competitive spirit of the sport—may the love for the game continue to live on in every Merlion’s heart.
Creativity, Sports, and Community or CSC is a core component of the Cambridge AS/A Level Programme that highly encourages the students to develop personally and socially by engaging in a variety of experiences outside the academic curriculum to help them become well-rounded individuals promoting learning, reflection, and engagement.
Congratulations Yousuf and to the winners of this tournament!

Conversations worth listening to filled SSMGC's Debate Stage last March 16 as the Junior Scholar’s Society hosted the Debate Showcase 2025: Little Voices, Big Ideas.
Our young scholars didn’t just present arguments—they exchanged ideas, questioned one another, and pushed their thinking further with every response. From wondering what learning looks like in the Age of AI to building on each other’s insights, every moment showed how powerful student voices can be when given the space to speak and be heard.
What stood out most wasn’t who “won,” but how ideas grew through dialogue—thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely curious.
Well done, Junior Scholars. Keep asking, keep listening, and keep the conversation going.

Happy Pi Day from our whole community! 🥧✨
Last March 6 was a delicious mix of creativity and competition. Our Preschoolers had a blast “putting the Pi in Pizza” by picking their own toppings, while our Primary through A-Level students took the intensity up a notch with an electrifying game of Human Scramble! 🧠🏃♂️
Whether it was counting fruits or answering Pi-related questions, our students proved that math is a universal language—and it’s always better when you’re having fun.
