Happy Feast Day of St. Therese 🙏✨

“𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆.” - 𝑺𝒕. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔

Born on January 2, 1873 on Alençon, France, St. Thérèse entered a Carmelite convent at a young age. Though she lived a hidden and simple life, her autobiography, Story of a Soul, inspired millions through her “Little Way”—serving God through small acts done with great love. She was declared a Doctor of the Church despite dying at only 24 years old.

She is the 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤.

St. Thérèse practiced discipline in ordinary daily life. She emphasized consistency in kindness, patience, humility, and sacrifice. Her example teaches that discipline is often found in small faithful actions repeated every day.
