Today we officially launched our Special Programs - Lumbini's after school augmentation program anchored on special interests both in the field of Performing Arts (Music, Dance, and Theater) and Sports (Basketball)

Guided by the principles of Humanistic Buddhism, Lumbini Institute of Cavite believes in the education of the whole child. While it's easier to conduct auditions and tryouts and train a selected few, we opted to provide opportunities to pursue creative and interactive activities for everyone who wishes to acquire and develop new skills.

Lumbini students, faculty, and administrators warmly welcomed student-athletes from Pumen High School - a co-educational Buddhist private school from Kaohsiung, Taiwan during their visit at the Lumbini Institute in Pooc, Silang, Cavite. The morning activities served as an exchange between students from two Fo Guang Shan-affiliated basic education institutions establishing possibilities for further partnerships in the future.

Led by Coach Lee Yi-Hsuan - a proud alumna of Pumen High School herself - the Pumen Girls Basketball Team is currently in the Philippines for their intensive training camp and guest participation at the inaugural Philippine Premiere Basketball Championships (PPBC) aiming to challenge themselves by competing with more matured collegiate counterparts such as the women's team of UP and Adamson. Their camp also features friendly scrimmage games with other schools - most notably with UAAP Juniors powerhouse NU Nazareth School Lady Bullpups.

Welcome to School Year 2026–2027!

A new school year officially began at Lumbini Institute of Cavite, Inc. on June 22, 2026, marking the start of another exciting journey of learning and growth.

The opening program kicked off with an energetic and spirited performance by the Guang Ming College Pep Squad. This was followed by an inspiring message from our Principal Dr. Arjay N. Viray and a heartfelt welcome and blessings from our Venerable Hui Zhuan, encouraging our students to embrace the new school year with enthusiasm, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.

Following the opening program, a Parents' Orientation was conducted to discuss important school policies, programs, and expectations for the academic year. The event also included the election of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) officers, fostering a strong partnership between the school and parents in supporting our students' success.

May this school year be filled with meaningful experiences, academic success, and lasting memories.
