GLOBAL-EXCEL REVIEW AND TUTORIAL CENTER started in its planning stage on April 14, 2010 through the request of numerous graduates

of the colleges and universities where the researcher had experienced part time teaching. Last May, 2011 she ( Dr. Teresita Gonzales Petalcorin) was able to process and let approve a new college from its secondary status, the Bearer of Light and Wisdom Colleges of Bacoor,Cavite. Actually way back in 1990’s she had conducted review classes. As head of the review team was blessed, 44 out of 47 successfully passed LET (Licensure Exam for Teachers) formerly PBET (Philippine Board Exam for Teachers) at Southern Leyte State University, Sogod, Southern Leyte. She used this as a venue for the review, done after classes and on Saturdays and Sundays. The first batch of reviewees had obtained a Ninety-Six and sixty-one hundredths (96.61%) passing percentage. Aside from this she conducted other review classes for high school NSAT (National Secondary Assessment Test) and NCEE (National College Entrance Exam) with 100% passing rate. Night tutorial lessons were also administered since 1985-1994 by way of crossing from one house to the other in some elite clients. Later she decided in the year 1995 to conduct her tutorial classes at her residence for easy access. This lasted until 2005. From then on the review center at home had been getting almost all the Topnotchers in twenty towns of Southern Leyte in their NSAT AND NCEE Examinations and has maintained a high passing percentage of 98-100%. One of her greatest achievement in her special tutorial services is Francis Josua Plaza of Sogod, Southern Leyte as the only Filipino in MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to pass in their college entrance examination in the United States of America. In her 6year-stay at Cavite since 2006 until the present, it has been observed that most of the reviewees have to commute to Manila to review, pay expensive fees, and spent added travel expenses. Some of them have the need to pay board and lodging to stay close and be updated with the review classes most often. This is the prime reason why she decided to open a review center which is not only affordable but practically would be accessible to the customers. The Center may prove its quality review by contacting and hiring more qualified reviewers. They will be continuously working towards the improvement of the quality and standards of their review, audiovisual and other facilities as well as their methods of teaching and the system of lecturing. Furthermore, they will also update their lectures and other supplementary materials which will be given to the reviewees for free. Most of them have obtained their Masteral and Doctorate degrees so that they will be more qualified to be a review lecturer. We have also adopted a modern program of reinforcing the knowledge of each board and review subjects through series of examinations. The Center will remain tremendously dedicated, totally devoted and strongly determined in their vision to be one of the best review center in the Philippines.
