1. Check Your Eligibility
Must be a Filipino citizen.
At least 18 years old on the date of filing.
Of good moral character.
Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or immorality.
Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed from government service.
You must not have taken the same exam level within the last 3 months.
2. Prepare the Requirements
Two (2) copies of fully accomplished CSE Application Form (CS Form No. 100)
👉 You can get this at any CSC Regional/Field Office or download from the CSC website.
Four (4) passport-size ID pictures (with name tag, white background, proper attire).
Original and photocopy of a valid ID (government-issued, like Driver’s License, UMID, SSS, Passport, PhilSys, PRC, Voter’s ID, etc.).
Examination fee:
₱500 for Paper-and-Pencil Test (PPT).
(If CSC opens Computerized Examination (COMEX), fee is ₱680).
3. File Your Application
Go to the nearest CSC Regional or Field Office.
Submit your accomplished form and requirements personally (they usually don’t accept representatives).
Pay the exam fee and get your examination receipt slip.
(Tip: Filing is on a first come, first served basis and slots are limited, so it’s best to file early within the application period.)
4. Wait for the Exam Day
Check your Notice of School Assignment (NOSA), usually released 1–2 weeks before the exam via the CSC website.
Bring your valid ID, application receipt, and other required materials (e.g., black ballpen).
5. Take the Exam
Arrive early on exam day.
Follow the test administrator’s instructions carefully.
6. Check the Results
Results are posted on the CSC official website within 60 days after the exam.
Passers will also receive a Certificate of Eligibility, which is your credential for applying to government jobs.
