ACTIVE SHOOTER SAFETY DRILL

Date Conducted: September 9, 2026 (Wednesday)
In Coordination With: Philippine National Police (PNP) - Silang, Cavite.

The activity was conducted in accordance with the school’s established safety rules, procedures, and emergency response protocols. The drill aimed to strengthen the preparedness of students, faculty, staff, security personnel, and other members of the school community in responding appropriately and safely to an active shooter or similar critical emergency situation.

The activity also provided an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of existing emergency procedures, communication and coordination mechanisms, evacuation and lockdown protocols, and the overall readiness of the school community.

Through this collaborative effort with the PNP, Cavite Institute, Inc. continues to promote a safe, prepared, and responsive school environment, emphasizing the importance of preparedness, proper coordination, and the protection of every member of the school community.

CI WINS!

Cavite Institute secures a 76–67 victory over LUMIL!
LUMIL dominated and built a strong lead during the 1st and 2nd quarters, putting CI under pressure early.

CI fought back in the 3rd and 4th quarters, making the game tighter, but CI stayed composed and fought until the final buzzer.

Leading the way were Lawrence Corpuz with 20 points, Omar Alcaraz with 19 points, and Matheo Banta with 15 points, And Jem Javier for his huge impact on defense with crucial rebounds and blocks! helping CI secure another important win!

Great fight, boys! Another win for CI! Keep pushing and keep representing Cavite Institute with pride!

Due to the heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), classes in all levels are suspended today, September 10, 2026 (Thursday).

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 134, Alternative Learning Modes (ALM) will be implemented to ensure the continuity of learning.
