“ENDING THE CADET ATTACHMENT PROGRAM WITH A SIMULATED INCIDENT” 🫡🔜👮🏻‍♂️

The simulated exercise provides a vital opportunity for cadets to demonstrate their proficiency and response capabilities in managing various aspects of civil disturbances, security, traffic management, and incident command. Led by PLTCOL ARIEL S BAIT and with the participation of Philippine National Police personnel, the exercise aims to assess the cadets' readiness to handle similar real-world situations as future leaders of the PNP.

Key objectives of the exercise included, Civil Disturbance Management wherein cadets will be evaluated on their ability to effectively control crowds, maintain order, and de-escalate potentially volatile situations. This includes utilizing appropriate tactics and strategies to handle protests, demonstrations, or other forms of civil unrest while ensuring the safety of both civilians and law enforcement personnel. Next is Security for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) wherein cadets will be tested on their capacity to securely transfer and manage persons deprived of liberty, adhering to established protocols and procedures to safeguard both the detainees and themselves from harm. Another is Traffic Management wherein cadets will demonstrate their skills in managing traffic flow and ensuring the safety of motorists and pedestrians amidst the simulated civil disturbance. This involves implementing effective traffic control measures, rerouting vehicles as necessary, and coordinating with relevant authorities to minimize disruptions. And lastly, Incident Command System (ICS) wherein cadets will be assessed on their ability to implement the Incident Command System, a standardized approach to incident management commonly used by emergency response organizations. This includes establishing command structures, delegating responsibilities, and coordinating resources to effectively respond to and mitigate the simulated incident.

Throughout the exercise, cadets were closely monitored and evaluated based on their decision-making abilities, leadership skills, communication effectiveness, and overall performance in handling the simulated scenario. Feedback and observations from experienced personnel will provide valuable insights into areas of strength and areas requiring further training and development for the cadets. Ultimately, the exercise serves as a crucial component of their training, preparing them for the diverse challenges they may encounter in their future roles within the Philippine National Police.

“ CREATING A COMPREHENSIVE CAMP DEFENSE PLAN.” 🫡🔜👮🏻‍♂️

Ensuring the safety and security of our camp is paramount. A comprehensive camp defense plan is essential to mitigate risks and respond effectively to potential threats. On the 7th day of our Cadet Attachment Program, Phase 3, Case-Based Scenario we are instructed to prepare for a camp defense that may happen any time of the day. The Aguinaldo City Police Station created a Camp Defense Plan headed by our very own Chief of Police, PLTCOL JAMES CARLO RODRIGUEZ supervised by PLTCOL JOSEPH ARVIN VILLARAN.

Before the activity, PMAJ Dauz oversaw the practice of executing a search warrant, which took place before the Evening Personnel Accounting. As we already knew, a search warrant is a formal court-signed document that instructs a law enforcement official to search a person or piece of property and seize any items listed therein. Search warrants are often utilized in drug investigations, according to PMAJ Dauz, to look into homes, cars, and storage facilities that may be concealing illegal substances. Search warrants may be used to search and confiscate electronic equipment, servers, and online accounts suspected of being involved in cybercrime such as identity theft, hacking, or online fraud.In order to get a search warrant, there must be probable cause, which is the equivalent of enough evidence to conclude that a crime has been committed and that the target site is likely to contain the materials being sought.

A comprehensive camp defense plan is essential for safeguarding lives and property in an unpredictable environment. By conducting thorough risk assessments, understanding the camp layout, fortifying perimeters, developing response protocols, and prioritizing training and preparedness, we can effectively mitigate risks and respond decisively to any threat or emergency situation. This plan serves as a roadmap for ensuring the safety and security of our camp and its occupants, enabling us to maintain a vigilant and resilient posture in the face of adversity.

At the Aguinaldo Police Station, March 19, 2024, marked not only a day of operational tasks but also a test of courtesy and politeness towards individuals seeking assistance. As the sun rose, officers prepared themselves not just for law enforcement duties but for interactions that demanded empathy, professionalism, and respect.

Throughout the day, officers encountered a diverse range of individuals, each with their own unique needs and challenges. From victims of crime seeking justice to community members seeking guidance, the station became a hub of support and assistance.

PMAJ MARIA VIRGINIA FORMANES led the evaluation, emphasizing the significance of courteous behavior in fostering trust and cooperation within the community. Officers were tasked with demonstrating patience and understanding, regardless of the circumstances presented to them.
As the day progressed, officers exemplified the values of courtesy and politeness in their interactions. They listened attentively to the concerns of those seeking help, offering reassurance and guidance with empathy and compassion.

Whether it was a victim of domestic violence, a worried parent seeking assistance, or a lost individual in need of direction, every interaction was met with professionalism and respect. The operation unfolded behind the clubhouse, where police operatives from the Aguinaldo Police Station engaged in a simulated pursuit of a suspect attempting to evade capture.

Captured through a series of photos, the operation served as a valuable learning experience, offering insights into the realities and challenges of leading such high-stakes endeavors. Participants were immersed in the intensity of the moment, gaining firsthand understanding of the procedures and decision-making processes required before and after such operations.

Today at the Aguinaldo Police Station was filled with enriching experiences and valuable lessons for all personnel involved. From the crack of dawn until the late hours of the evening, each moment presented an opportunity for growth and development.

The day commenced with an on-the-spot inspection and correction (OTSIC), emphasizing the importance of maintaining cleanliness and adhering to the Facility ABCD Policy. This served as a reminder of the standards expected from every member of the team and the significance of attention to detail.
Following this, the team gathered for reports, inspections, and the Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE) session. These activities provided an opportunity for personnel to stay updated on important information and regulations, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the department.

One of the highlights of the day was the deployment for area security during the tour of facilities at the PNPA Grandstand. Led by Chief of Operations, PLT. Kent Jeriku Belardo, this task showcased the importance of teamwork and coordination in ensuring the safety and security of the community.

Community relations activities, including the distribution of leaflets on Anti-Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), highlighted the department's commitment to serving and protecting the community beyond law enforcement duties. It underscored the role of the police force as partners in promoting social welfare and justice.

The day also saw the preparation and establishment of checkpoints in response to a radio message, demonstrating the agility and responsiveness of the team in addressing emerging security concerns.

“CASE BASED SCENARIOS - First Step towards the last phase of the ongoing Cadet Attachment Program of the LAYAG-DIWA CLASS of 2024” 🫡🔜👮🏻‍♂️

IN PHOTOS - Establishment of Mock Police Station, The PNPA LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024 embarks on the practical phase of their Cadet Attachment Program by establishing mock police stations in different locations. By cleaning the surroundings. Each station is meticulously set up to simulate real-world policing environments, complete with essential sections such as administration, operations, police community relations, and criminal investigation.

Police Cadet Dela Cruz, appointed as Chief of Police, designated as Police Lieutenant Colonel designates personnels to lead various sections within the mock police stations. Each personnels assumes the role of a department head, responsible for overseeing operations, enforcing protocols, and ensuring the efficient functioning of their respective sections.

On the first day of practical operations, my team prepares for deployment as Traffic PNCOs. Cadet Apostol, Cudias, and Dag-uman, under the leadership of our designated Traffic PNCO, undertake tasks related to traffic management and enforcement, including OPLAN Sita/Bakal and night checkpoint operations.

Cadets, acting as Traffic PNCOs, execute OPLAN Sita/Bakal under the guidance of our supervisors. With precision and adherence to protocols, we conducted vehicle inspections and enforce traffic regulations to maintain order and safety on the roads.

As part of our duties, the Traffic PNCOs conduct night checkpoint operations. Through meticulous planning and coordination, we screen vehicles, verify driver licenses and registrations, and uphold traffic laws to prevent accidents and deter criminal activities.

Following the successful completion of our tasks, after a long days work we gather for debriefing and evaluation. We reflect on our performance, discuss challenges encountered, and identify areas for improvement. Through constructive feedback and shared learning experiences, we strengthen our skills and readiness for future policing duties.
