𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | On September 19, 2026, student-athletes of FEU Cavite BED competed rounds of taekwondo showcasing their skills and precise movement alongside several schools.

This was held at Bulihan Integrated National High School where these student-athletes proudly brought home several medals and recognition. All of the following students won in their own categories:

🏅 Gold Medalists: Achilles Rayne Agosila and Mark Shalom Domingo (Kyorugi Category)
🥈 Silver Medalists: Lucien Grey Egenias and Matt Jhayden Fornillos (Kyorugi Category)
🥉 Bronze Medalist: Kyle Edward Puma (Poomsae Category)

Through their passion and dedication for taekwondo despite the intense competition, they earned their spot at the podium.

Today, September 21, 2026, marks the 54th anniversary of the declaration of the Martial Law in the Philippines. It remains one of the most significant and defining chapters in the Philippine history, one whose shadows continue to shape the country to this day.

It is important to remember the loss, grief, and struggles of those whose lives were cut short and whose stories were nearly stricken from history. The rights we have today were fought for and defended by generations before us.

Never forget what has passed, and never again let history repeat itself.

A new term marks the beginning of another journey. 🧭🗺️

As we mark a new beginning, we carry forward the lessons, experiences, and challenges that shaped the weeks that have passed. Now, a new stretch of the academic year lies ahead, bringing new lessons to learn, responsibilities to take on, and goals to pursue.

Entering the 2nd Term, may we continue moving forward with the same determination, ready to face whatever the journey brings. 💚💛

𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗦 | As the term draws to a close, we revisit a moment that unexpectedly became part of the term’s timeline—the postponement of examinations due to persistent heavy rainfall. 🌧️

What initially brought relief to students soon became a cycle of waiting, rescheduling, and adjusting study plans. For some, the additional time meant another chance to prepare; for others, it became an opportunity to set the books aside for a little longer.

In the end, it was simply a brief pause in the usual rhythm of the term—one that called for a little patience, flexibility, and a change of plans.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱; 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 | FEU Cavite held a 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 and 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, led by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Silang Fire Station, which aimed to conduct an effective and efficient earthquake and fire preparedness drill in FEU Cavite.

The activity highlighted safety procedures in case of fire, with participants carrying out alarm, evacuation, and assembly as part of the drill.

Participants were instructed to perform 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 (Sound the alarm, Alert the authorities, Fight the fire, Evacuate) and proceed to the assembly area (BED Grounds) to conduct a head count which lasted for approximately 30 minutes.

The fire drill provided the FEU Cavite community with an opportunity to learn and perform safety procedures in case an earthquake or fire might happen, emphasizing the importance of safety practices and emergency preparedness.

Through this initiative, FEU Cavite continues to promote a culture of safety, preparedness, and responsibility, ensuring that its community remains informed and prepared to respond during emergencies.

𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | On September 17, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Silang Fire Station facilitated an earthquake drill at the FEU Cavite Basic Education Department, giving students and staff an opportunity to practice proper evacuation and response procedures. The activity was followed by a hands-on demonstration on the correct use of a fire extinguisher, highlighting the importance of staying calm, alert, and prepared during emergencies.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | On September 17, 2026 the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Silang Fire Station conducted a Fire Safety Seminar to strengthen the school community’s awareness and preparedness for emergencies.

The seminar was followed by a Fire and Earthquake Drill, where students and staff practiced proper evacuation procedures and emergency response to strengthen preparedness for possible emergencies.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Classes at all levels in public and private schools in Cavite are suspended today, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall.

In line with this, the FEU Cavite Basic Education Department will shift to 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. Students are advised to continue their lessons through the learning materials and instructions provided by their teachers.

Let us continue to prioritize the safety, protection, and overall well-being of everyone while remaining committed to the continuity of learning despite the current weather conditions. 🌧️
